After.

That is, after hitting Home Depot at 6am. After hitting home depot the night before and then realizing that the coupling was too long and that I'd have to dig out and expose more pipe. And after digging the hole and cutting the pipe, realizing i had a 1/2" telescoping coupling and needed 3/4" and Home Depot was already closed. Then after I finally had the right parts, it started pouring as I was re-cutting the PVC, so I had to drag out a plastic table to work under while cementing the PVC fittings. But the water is back on now. Hopefully it holds.
